Brief About Thimphu (40 words):

Thimphu, the modern yet spiritual capital of Bhutan, offers a mix of traditional Bhutanese culture and contemporary charm. Nestled in the Himalayas, it features monasteries, museums, and local markets, making it a perfect gateway to explore Bhutan's soul.

  •  Distance: ~55 km
  •  Driving Time: 1.5 to 2 hours
  •  Route: Paro – Thimphu
  •  Itinerary:
  •  Arrive at Paro Airport. After completing customs, drive to Thimphu.
  •  Check-in at the hotel.
  •  Visit Buddha Dordenma, Takin Preserve, and BBS Tower viewpoint.
  •  Explore Zilukha Nunnery and Simply Bhutan museum.
  •  Visit the Institute for Zorig Chusum (13 Arts and Crafts).
  •  Catch an archery match if available.
  •  Evening visit to Tashichho Dzong.
  •  Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu


Brief About Punakha & Dochula (40 words):

Punakha, Bhutan’s ancient capital, lies in a lush valley and is known for its breathtaking dzong and rivers. The scenic Dochula Pass en route offers panoramic views of the Himalayas and is marked by 108 spiritual chortens set amidst prayer flags.

  •  Distance: ~75 km
  •  Driving Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
  •  Route: Thimphu – Dochula Pass – Punakha
  •  Itinerary:
  •  Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100 m).
  •  Stop at 108 Chortens and take in the views.
  •  Visit Punakha Dzong at the river confluence.
  •  Walk on the Punakha Suspension Bridge.
  •  Overnight: Hotel in Punakha


Brief About Paro, Semtokha Dzong & Tachog Bridge (40 words):

Paro is a tranquil valley town famous for monasteries, dzongs, and natural beauty. Semtokha Dzong is Bhutan’s oldest fortress, while Tachog Bridge, built by a saint-engineer, offers stunning views of the river and insight into Bhutan’s heritage.

  •  Driving Time: 4.5 to 5 hours
  •  Route: Punakha – Thimphu – Paro
  •  Itinerary:
  •  Visit Semtokha Dzong en route to Paro.
  •  Stop at Tachog Lhakhang and cross its iconic iron chain bridge.
  •  Photo stop at the scenic Paro Airport viewpoint.
  •  Check-in at hotel in Paro and enjoy free time to explore.
  •  Overnight: Hotel in Paro


Option A – Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang):

  •  Hike 4–5 hours round-trip to the sacred cliffside monastery.
  •  Experience Bhutan’s most iconic site with awe-inspiring views 

Option B – Paro Sightseeing & Chelela Pass:

  • Visit Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong) & Ta Dzong (National Museum).
  •  Stroll across the cantilever bridge near the dzong.
  •  Drive to Chelela Pass (3,988 m) for spectacular Himalayan views.
  • Overnight: Hotel in Paro

  • After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport.
